SEMI-SUBMERGED
In collaboration with Kieran Letts, Semi-Submerged is an exploration into the long-term impacts of saline environments on the structural and aesthetic qualities of timber.
Playful, sculptural objects made using a mix of cherry and maple have been fixed to undisclosed coastal locations and semi-submerged at the tide line. Over the coming months and years, the degradation process will be documented to show how the grain of the timber morphs with its changing environment.
